Fairing Compounds

Arjay offers two different fairing compounds that are used for marine production, tooling and boat repair. Both are available in five gallon plastic pails (1201, 1301), 55 gallon drums (1202, 1302), five gallon metal air dispensing pails (1205, 1305), or one gallon cans (1204, 1304). Both products cure tack free and sand extremely easy.


Fairing Compound (1201, 1202, 1204, 1205)

This is a comparitively low viscosity version for dragging thin sections for fairing. Gel times are controlled for either MEKP or BPO catalyst. Get times and cures are relatively short to allow sanding in 10 to 15 minutes.

High Viscosity Fairing Compound (1301, 1302, 1304, 1305)

This is a higher viscosity version similar to ATC's "Polyfair F-26". It can be applied in thing or thick sections. When working on vertical areas with more the 1/8" of thickness, the 1300 series would be the better choice. Thin sections may take longer than the 1200 series before being sandable. 1300 series is not offered for BPO cure.
